Mary Jane declines Peter's marriage proposal and has to go to Pittsburgh where she finds her sister in jail. Spidey is attacked by Smythe who has vastly improved his father's Spider-Slayer robot. MJ asks Peter to come help her out and he has to decide between being there for the woman he loves or taking down a super villain. Peter heads to Pittsburgh but Smythe finds out and follows him.
