What?!... A woman!?
Aria hires on as military advisor to Lord Suryam and disguises herself as a man in order to whip a squad of goldbricks into shape. Stapp, Suryam's original advisor, is secretly in league with the barbarian leader Galbeck. Stapp tries to get Aria and her squad killed, but they beat the killers despite two-to-one odds, after which Aria overcomes the barbarians by stealth. Even after they learn that she's a woman, the squad determines to follow her wherever she leads.
