Welcome once again, faithful readers, to the tumultuous tale of librarian Rex Libris...
Synopsis:
As Rex ponders the problem of characters from books escaping into the real world, Circe notes Rex is 2000+ years old yet in two years his comic book has covered about 7 days of his life. Rex offers more of his backstory to Barry, but Barry asks him to streamline his life. Simon interrupts their meeting to tell a story about a time he and Rex battled a giant rooster and ox which were transformed by H.G. Wells' Food of the Gods. In Simon's story, he's more impressive than Rex and steals Rex's lover Flavia. Rex awakens from the story to learn it was all a dream and Flavia is still with him.
