Colt is being pursued by Marshal Grimm, an honorable lawman. When Apache Coombs tries to have Grimm eaten to death by ants Colt saves him and fights side-by-side with Grimm against Coombs' gang. With the outlaws dead Grimm intends to resign rather than arrest Colt but Colt spares his pride by knocking him unconscious and fleeing.
