The Heap
The Heap [Baron Eric von Emmelman]; un-named Mayor of Wasau; un-named schoolmaster; Karl (villain); Hans (villain)
The innocent victims of the war.....the children, are rescued by the Heap and taken to safety in the Wasau Forest. Unfortunately, the townspeople believe that these "little people of the woods" come down at night and steal all of their crops. Believing that the townspeople are their enemies, the children strike back at anyone threatening them, and it's up to the Heap and schoolmaster to re-civilize these children.
