Donald's disciplining of his nephews is witnessed by Prof. Pulpheart Clabberhead, a child psychologist, who convinces the duck that punishing children for their misdeeds will hamper their development. He soon learns that children without boundaries become spoiled brats, as the nephews take full advantage of Donald's new leniency. At the end of his rope, Donald invites the Professor to his house where the nephews set off giant firecrackers under his chair, proving that even an indulgent child psychologist can chase kids with a switch in his hand.

The first two pages of games and puzzles include "A Simple Puzzle for the Little Ones," "Scrambled Vegetables" and "Muddled Words." These are followed by four pages advertising a contest in which two adults and two children can win a seven day vacation trip to Disneyland, plus $1000. Following the four contest pages are another two pages of games, "Treasure Hunt" and "Mobil Sighto Game." These eight pages are in the center of the book, between the first and second halves of the story.
