Steve Roper became the title character in the Big Chief Wahoo strip in 1947. Copyright and dating information has been removed from all panels in this reprint. William Overgard took over the artwork in 1954, but this strip is probably earlier than that as the strip refers to Kit Carson being "crowned 'Miss Foolish of 1949 ?!'".

The splash panel of this story (half of page 1) had been removed and the story reformatted to 6 pages rather than 7. This version is probably sourced from Quality Comics [Police Comics (Quality Comics, 1941 series) #81 (August 1948)] as Rosnock printed other Quality stories. The story ends on the back cover, which is printed in blue ink.
