A rash of disappearing animals leads Wolverine and his allies to an island populated by endangered species. They have been collected by the Conservator who is very unhappy at having his paradise invaded by humans. After a brief battle, the heroes convince the Conservator to open his island as a natural preserve to enhance the public's knowledge of endangered animals.
