Synopsis: Emir Shekar is teaching his stepson how to be a ruthless ruler by watching the slaughter of slaves. Kaänga frees the slaves and takes Prince Kajumba with him. Kaänga and N'sungu build a stockade for the newly-freed slaves. Shekar attacks with his war elephants. Kaänga defeats them and the prince decides that Kaänga is a better role model than the emir.
