Hello, Piper. Did you miss me?
Baba Yaga tortures the Piper to try to get him to reveal the location of the Serpent's Sceptre, but Samantha is uncomfortable with her methods. When Baba Yaga leaves temporarily, the Piper talks Samantha into freeing him so he won't be killed. As soon as he is free, he strikes Samantha and removes the sceptre from a pocket dimension located in his body. But Baba Yaga and Samantha had planned this all along as Baba Yaga never actually left. Holding a knife to the Piper's throat, she takes the sceptre.

Although this is Chapter 7 of the Dream Eater Saga, this story actually begins where the stories in Chapters 2 and 3 end. Chapter 2 (Grimm Fairy Tales: Dream Eater Saga #2) follows the Piper until the point where he is captured by Baba Yaga. Chapter 3 (Grimm Fairy Tales Myths & Legends #6) follows Baba Yaga and Samantha Darren until the point where Baba Yaga captures the Piper.

Unlike the other stories in this volume, no story-specific credits are provided. Trujillo is assumed to be the penciller since he is not credited in any other story, but is listed among the pencillers in the opening credits section.

Belinda needs to bring Sela back to Earth, but Belinda has lied so many times that Sela doesn't listen to her. During their battle, Maga eels drag both of them underwater. Belinda kills the eels, but now Belinda and Sela are in an underwater cove that is the home of Esmeralda, the Sea Witch. Esmeralda seems to have the upper hand and Belinda tries to bargain with her, but it is just a ruse so she can steal Esmeralda's ring. The ring is a key and a door in one, allowing the user to travel to any of the four realms. But before Belinda can leave with Sela, a mysterious young girl appears.
