Does any of this look familiar, Clay?
To open the story, we see the body of a savagely killed bear that has been discovered in rural South Dakota, near the Seidwell Rehabilitation Institute. The institute is home to at risk youth of the most elite and wealthy. Among the doctors and patients introduced is Eric, who is diagnosed with catatonic schizophrenia and has not spoken since he arrived. But as he sits in his room, staring out the window, he witnesses a security guard killed on the grounds by a beast and starts screaming to be let out.

I'm here on the outskirts of the city ...
Raging storms have closed down the roads around the institute. Kasey goes downstairs to restore the lights, but discovers several mutilated bodies and reports this to Doctor Wilson, the head of the institute. Concerned about the financial repercussions to the institute, Wilson tells Kasey not to reveal this to anyone else for fear of causing a panic among the patients. Later, after Lydia has disappeared, Britney and Christopher discover Annie in a room with the mutilated bodies of Brian and Louis.
