Synopsis:
Young sheepherder Mark Edelblut is watching his father's flock while his trained hawk circles overhead, looking for any predators, and a wolf is soon spotted and disposed of. However, other wildlife in the area seem to be fleeing in panic, and young Edelblut soon discovers why: a large body of men, owing their loyalty to Baron Von Wolfe, are marching on Castle Edelblut. Using his wits, Mark uses his trained hawk to attack the Baron, severely wounding him and forcing a retreat, thus saving the castle from capture.
