Merlin; Leon du Lac (son of Lancelot and Guinevere); Queen of Hearts; Queen of Spades; King Arthur; Guinevere; Lancelot du Lac
Raised in a cave by Merlin, Leon uses a mirror to enter Wonderland when hostile forces attack while Merlin is gone. He gains fame as a champion fighting the forces of the Queen of Hearts. But when the Queen of Spades tells him that beasts from Wonderland have crossed over to the realm of his birth, he returns and slays one of the beasts. Leon is hailed as a hero and seduced by a grateful young woman. When the girl's father angrily confronts him, Leon's instincts take over and he kills first him. Leon now succumbs to the darkness he has fought against and returns to serve the Queen of Spades.

Lady Elizabeth Mary Bathory [Rose]; Baba Yaga; Gerald (Elizabeth's husband); Matthew (Elizabeth's son); Rebecca (Elizabeth's daughter)
Elizabeth's life was filled with tragedy. Her parents had been killed prior to her marriage to Gerald, then her children all died at a young age. When Elizabeth discovers that Gerald had been behind all the deaths, she makes a deal with Baba Yaga. After sacrificing hundreds of women to the Dark One, she is sent to Wonderland where she is remade as Rose. Gerald is also sent there where he will suffer eternal torment in Rose's garden for having taken away her children.

You have to eat something, Miss Elizabeth.
The Hatter kills more and more people serving the Queen of Hearts to get revenge for what she did to the woman he had loved. He disguises himself as one of the Queen's staff servants and enters her room one night, but the Cheshire Cat attacks him. The Queen and the Cheshire Cat had made a temporary truce to spring the trap.

Charles was dying from a fatal disease when he made a deal with a creature from another realm in exchange for immortality. Now he is over a hundred years old and his wife is dead. He no longer wants to go on living. He attempts to commit suicide by blowing his brains out with a shotgun, but the damage is restored and he goes on living.

Although Charles has promised Monica that he would stop sending souls to Wonderland, when Charles discovers that Drake has been abusing Johnny, he sends him through the mirror to Wonderland. When Monica discovers what Charles has done, she passes out and later dies in the hospital despite Charles' best efforts to please the entity in Wonderland.

The Book of Shadows preview recaps the entire Charmed television series and serves as a prequel for the comic book series. There are some drawings and photographs of the characters, but mostly a series of descriptions of the characters and events from the television series.
