"Curly Bill" Brocius; "Old Man" Clanton; Wyatt Earp
The "Curly Bill" Spin was a gunman's trick whereby it would appear that the gunman would be handing over his revolver gun butt first, but with a finger in the trigger guard would spin the gun so it was in firing position, then used against the opponent. Brocius, the inventor of this lethal trick, was a member of the Clanton-McLowry Gang in the 1880s, and later became its leader. After the killing of their brother Morgan the Earp brothers set out against the outlaw gang, and "Curly Bill" Brocius finally met death from the end of a shotgun wielded by Morgan Earp's brother, Wyatt.
