Guy Maudrid, a writer of supernatural stories is summoned before a "grotesque ogre personifying the forces of evil". The writer is asked to hand over his manuscript because therein lies the secret of destroying all evil. Maudrid applies his knowledge and evil is destroyed.

Jay Disbrow wrote and drew this story and it's essentially a remake of a story he did one month earlier called "Dwellers in Darkness" for Beware #11.
