Although this hobby page purports to be about stamp collecting, it actually has nothing at all to do with that subject. Instead, the article, which takes up the inner two-thirds of opposing pages, contains biographies of luminary Bolivians Andrés Santa Cruz, Bernardo Monteagudo, and Jose Ballivian.

The column is surrounded on the outer one-third of each page by a host of classified ads, predominately selling stamps and stamp collecting paraphernalia.

The Captain and the Kids
Hans; Fritz; The Captain; The Inspector; Mama; Bloodshot; Flotsam and Jetsam; Manny the Monster (introduction); Oliver the Octopus (introduction)
The treasure hunters have arrived at the lair of Manny the Monster, into which the family are disappearing, one by one.
With the men of the family missing, and so finding themselves at the mercy of nefarious seamen Flotsam and Jetsam, Hans and Fritz conspire to seek out legendary Manny the Monster and enlist his aid in effecting a rescue. Manny, as it turns out, is only monstrous in appearance and is only too happy to help, calling on his pal Oliver the Octopus to dispense with the bad guys. This leaves the family free to claim the treasure left in Manny's lair by Bloodshot's father, and they head for home in their commandeered submarine, dreaming of how to spend their newfound riches.

This feature runs across the bottom half of pages 35-48.

Although this strip is by Don Mager, the gimmick is that it is signed as if being "by Watso," who is the Dr. Watson-like character in the strip to Hawkshaw, who is himself a Sherlock Holmes parody - this in much the same way the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Sherlock stories were "written" by Dr. Watson.
