En 1958 las principales series de ENS pasaron a La Prensa, conservando la numeración. Estos comics ya se imprimían en La Prensa.
En 1963 La Prensa empieza a publicar en México los comics de super-héroes de Marvel.
Deja de publicar comics en 1973.
Entre 1981 y 1984, publican comics de nuevo, únicamente la serie Clásicos Ilustrados, 24 números.
El periódico La Prensa, todavía se publica, con una variante del mismo logotipo.
