Based on the Davy Crockett episodes of Walt Disney's "Disneyland" television series.
The Walt Disney version of Davy Crockett, which starred Fess Parker, also appeared in Four Color (Dell, 1942 series) #631 (Indian Fighter, May 1955), #639 (At the Alamo, July 1955), #664 (The Great Keelboat Race, November 1955) & #671 (River Pirates, December 1955)
The title was revived, as Davy Crockett King of the Wild Frontier (Western, 1963 series) & again in 1969, reprinting Dell stories.
