Disclose Notes: On the "Darkhold Envelope" black parchment paper cover that wraps around the entire book, the front cover of the Newsstand edition had a sticker adhered to it before it was distributed. Printed on the sticker is the issue number "13," the distribution month of “AUG," the Curtis Circulation logo and number, and the prices of "$2.75 US; $3.45 CAN." When the sticker is removed, printed on the cover are the same issue number, distribution month and Curtis Circulation logo and number, but with the prices of "$2.50 US; $3.15 CAN." This is all while the indicia states, "Price $2.25 per copy in the U.S. and $2.85 in Canada."

On the front cover behind the "Darkhold Envelope" parchment paper, there is cover artwork with a UPC box. Instead of a barcode in the UPC box, the Newsstand edition has a B&W image of Ghost Rider’s flaming skull. Because of this error, Marvel adhered another sticker with a printed barcode onto the back of the parchment paper cover with a barcode number of "009281019275 08."
