Avengers West Coast [Hawkeye; Iron Man [Tony Stark]; Hank Pym; Tigra; Wonder Man; Scarlet Witch; Wasp]; Spider-Woman [Julia Carpenter]; USAgent; Sunfire; Pele; Namor, the Sub-Mariner; Dr. Demonicus (villain); Kain (villain); The Big One (villain)
The AWC split up to track down the Pacific Overlords. Half the team goes to Australia, half to Japan. Hawkeye & Spider-Woman are left behind to take care of the giant infant they captured. When Hawk and Spidey discover a location that was missed, they head to Hawaii and arrive just in time to witness Namor being attacked by Sunfire and Pele at the Pearl Harbor memorial. Even though Sunfire claims to be a Pacific Overlord during the fight, once he is defeated, it turns out he was being mind controlled by Demonicus. The Commission tasks USAgent with tracking down and killing Spider-Woman.
