Synopsis:
With the Muir Isle saga concluded and a house full of X-Men, Professor X tears into his many teams for their recent incompetence. Cable storms off with the New Mutants, even though Xavier tells the X-Men to stop him. In retaliation, Cable blows up Xavier, Scott and Jean, leaving the X-Teams without their head players. The mutants split between Storm who wants to apprehend Cable and Wolverine who wants to kill him. As the X-Men concentrate on Cable, the world explodes with evil mutants taking full advantage of the situation. With the world in chaos, Magneto feels he must step in and take over.
