Disclose Notes: The cover figure is based on a 1941 Bob Landry photograph of actress Rita Hayworth in a sheer-topped nightgown kneeling on the satin sheets of a bed. The black and white photo appeared in Life Magazine. Other photos from the same session show the nightgown as possibly dusty rose, rather than blue. This photo was often swiped, including on the painted cover for a text pulp novel, Illicit Passion (1946 Phoenix Press) depicting character, Lucille Mathews.
