The Comet is still a fugitive from the law.

This is the final appearance of the "The Comet" feature in Pep Comics. The feature appears next in The Mighty Crusaders (Archie, 1965 Series) #2 (January 1966).

"The Comet" is replaced next issue by "Hangman", which is a spin-off of "The Comet". The Comet [John Dickering] will appear in "Hangman" as a supporting character (for a short time).

This is the final appearance of "The Midshipman" feature.

Originally credited to Mort Meskin, but there are none of his long chinned faces with squinting eyes, or very long legged figures with small heads. Looks more like an unknown novice or tryout artist before closing the feature.
