Stan Lee's Soapbox notes that a sequel to Origins of Marvel Comics is coming out and that Stan had speaking engagements at Michigan State University, Augustana, Ferris State, the University of Wisconsin, and Montreal's George Williams College. In other news, Marvel will be producing an adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, John Buscema has opened an art school, Archie Goodwin will replace Don McGregor as editor of Marvel's black and white magazines, Marvel receives many nominations for the Shazam Awards sponsored by the Academy of Comic Book Arts, and Paul Gulacy and Len Wein were guests of honor at the first Pittcon, sponsored by the Pittsburgh Comix Club.
