Carla and Ralph come to the Savage Land with a Swamp Tank to steal Ka-Zar's vibranium, but when they force him to open the door to where it is stored the vibranium destroys the tank. Carla is carried off and killed by the Swamp Men when Ralph is not able to save her because the gun he was using only had blanks due to Carla replacing the bullets with blanks in an effort to get Ralph killed.

Items about how there is no Stan Lee's Soapbox this time because he talked himself out last time, information on Doc Savage, the Man of Bronze #1 (scripter is Roy Thomas and artists are Ross Andru and John Severin), Frank Brunner is teaming up with Barry Smith on Dr. Strange, Ralph Reese is working on Journey Into Mystery, Billy Graham is working on Luke Cage, Hero For Hire, Mike Trimpe is helping his brother Herb on Ant-Man, Wayne Boring is working on Captain Marvel, George Effinger (a new writer) has written a book called "What Entropy Means To Me" and there are now subliminal messages at the bottom of pages of stories advertising new comics or stories. Also includes a small illustration of Doc Savage, The Gunhawks [Reno Jones; Richard "Kid" Cassidy] and Man-Thing advertising their new series. Also a small advertisement for Journey Into Mystery #1 and The Cat. Marvel checklist (A Sizzling Selection of Gargantuan Goodies) for comics now on sale! Jann goes deep into the swampland to get the rare red orchid for Pat Mahoney to photograph, unfortunately, the smell of this orchid causes a fever in Jann's jungle friends so she has to go even deeper into the swampland to find the rare black orchid which can cure the fever. She finds it but has to fight off dinosaurs and a living wall of thorns to get it. She is almost trapped by the wall of thorns but her jungle friends, who had followed her into the swampland, save her after they are cured by her bringing the rare black orchid near them.
