Rex Libris
Rex Libris; Kurui-no-Oni; Mr. Blumenkohl; B. Barry Horst; Hypatia; Sphinx; Thoth
Rex Libris is a librarian at the Middleton Public Library. After defeating the demon Kurui-no-Oni's effort to take out a book without a card and rejecting an offer of employment from Blumenkohl, Rex relates his origins as a 2000+ year old Roman librarian to B. Barry Horst, publisher of his comic book. Barry offers suggestions to "improve" Rex's life story such as making him gay or mentally disturbed. Finally, Rex visits his employer, the god Thoth, who orders Rex to collect an overdue book (and fines) from Vaglox, warlord of Benzine Five.
