He then is attacked by a shapeshifter named Scythe who mimics his form and absorbs his powers. Leaving Gravestone defeated, Scythe goes on a rampage.

Gravestone; partygoers at a Halloween party; Megara; unnamed demons
The only night a year when Gravestone feels welcomed by others: Halloween. And the only night where you can put on a mask to become anything or anyone else. On this night, he crashes a party, meets Megara --a woman dressed like a cat-- and defeats some demons summoned by a Ouija board. As Gravestone leaves, Megara reverts to her true form-- a cat. Gravestone finds her and takes her home.
