Synopsis:
Veronica's posing for Archie, but he's not painting her portrait. He's drawing flirtatious slogans, as he stares at her with love in his eyes. Class ends, and she wants to see it. Not wanting to show her what he's done, he tells her no. She demands to see it the next day. Worried, he makes a second painting, and Veronica likes it. The second painting gets destroyed. This leads Veronica to find the original painting, and she stares at it with love in her eyes. When she asks Archie about it, he tells her, "I did that one of Betty!" Her expression changes, and she smashes it over his head.

The splash page of this story, and its plot, is similar to the cover art of Archie Comics (1942 series) #44 (published May-June 1950). The splash page breaks the cover into 1 large picture of Veronica and 2 small pictures of Archie. Veronica is posing in a white sweater, and a red skirt.
