Time and time again, Conan's schemes are thwarted by the female bandit known as Snow Raven. When Conan ends up in a Kathai prison, the emperor promises to set him free if he can save his future wife, the princess of Kushan, who has been kidnapped by a Rat cult. Conan saves the princess from being sacrificed to the Rat god, but once again Snow Raven steals the princess and the reward. In the end, Conan is the one who ends up on top through stealth and cunning.
