Synopsis:
The Hypershuttle smashes into the Planet Krypton restaurant! Superboy, Ace, Prof, and June meet Rocky. Red is lost, but Prof has knowledge of Hypertime and a piece of hyperium, so they all vow to reenter Hypertime to rescue Red. June is not June Robbins, but June Walker, who has been a Challenger since meeting Ultivac. Mr. Carter is actually Rip Hunter! Superboy leaves for Cadmus, where dozens of heroes are gathered to replace him. Heat Wave, trying to reform, exposes Hawk and Dove as Punch and Julee! They grab a hostage and get clobbered by Superboy! Heat Wave gets a chance to be his backup.

Until this issue, it was thought a mere typo that June Robbins was accidentally named June Walker in Kirby's Challengers 1, 2, and 3. Karl Kesel has worked both Junes into the DCU.
