First Line: Scant seconds ago, a bespectacled adult male and tongue-tied teenage boy stepped casually into a secluded alleyway, somewhere in a copy that calls itself New York.

Synopsis: Their powers and costumes back to normal, Superman and Captain Marvel head to the Rock of Eternity to see if Superman can return home, but there they find the wizard Shazam asleep and Mr. Mxyzptlk with his allies Mr. Mind and King Kull. Mxy sends the heroes to Hoppy the Marvel Bunny's universe, trading them for Hoppy and Millie. But realizing Mr. Mind is serious about killing Captain Marvel and Superman, Mxy says his name backwards and reverses all of his spells, leaving Mr. Mind and King Kull at the mercy of Superman and the entire Marvel Family.

Schwartz' records credit both Thomas and Gerry Conway with the script, the printed credits credit Thomas with script and Conway with a plotting assist, but Thomas says "The credits on DC COMICS PRESENTS #34 are definitely wrong. Gerry had no part in that issue, only in plotting part 1 in #33 from my concept."
