Aphrodite explains that this Steve Trevor came from another, unknown Earth in the multiverse. The goddess uses the mists of Nepenthe to wrap the entire Earth so that the whole world forgets about the previous Steve Trevor, just as Diana has. In Diana's "new" reality, her career until this time is intact, just without Steve Trevor. First Earth-One appearance of the Purple Ray and Magic Sphere in the Wonder Woman comic; in this incarnation, the Sphere is a freestanding giant crystal ball, not wall-mounted. The Purple Ray is kept in the temple of Athena. Cleo and Artesia are called Diana's closest friends. Unlike previous contests, a 3-way swordfight is the final contest, not bullets and bracelets.
