The Flamethrower
The Flamethrower, that arson-loving C.R.U.S.H. agent, is back with his powers restored. This time his plan is to use flame-throwing fireflies to wipe out P.O.P. and Mr. Lodge's plant. But with the help of P.O.P.'s science lab, A.R.C.H.I.E. manages to re-direct the fireflies to destroy C.R.U.S.H. buildings, and finally their own master.

One of many references in this surreal "Archie's" story: Archie mentions "The Vanishing American," the title of a 1925 silent Western starring Richard Dix.

Another store name in the background, "Victor's," refers to editorial assistant Victor Gorelick.
