Synopsis: The Exiles arrive in medieval Manhattan where they meet up with Spider-Man, the only person who remembers how the modern world was transformed into this fantasy nightmare. Spider-Man explains that Kulan Gath caused the change but lost his power to the demon Zarathos when the sorcerer tried to manipulate Johnny Blaze. The Tallus informs the Exiles that their mission is to unseat Zarathos and return control of this reality to Kulan Gath.
