Synopsis: Doom's revenge on the Torch is a cosmic ray mutation that has resulted in uncontrollable flame. Johnny learns that Sky has also been affected, due to the bond between them, but she senses his betrayal and severs the connection, returning to her home world. Alicia takes the children on a playdate with neighborhood children, including Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Reed in unable to find a solution for Johnny's mutation, so Johnny is confined to a sub-basement of their headquarters until something can be done.
