Lulu pretends to have a party but only invites Wilbur so she can have alone time. Wilbur at first doesn't know this and tells Gloria and she tells the other kids, all discovering they were not invited and get upset. Wilbur discovers the party is only for him and he gets upset. The rest crash Lulu's party and eat all the food. Wilbur returns only to see everyone and accusing Lulu of telling a "fine story" and leaves. Lulu is happy the party turned out to be a success with everyone else.

Well, bye now, mother! I have to go to the supermarket for Mrs. Jones.
Lulu goes to the supermarket for Mrs. Jones. Lulu has to take Alvin, who thinks he is a dog called Rover. Since dogs are not allowed in the store, Lulu ties up Alvin next to a dog stand full of dogs. Alvin releases them and they cause chaos in the store. Store manager Mr. Tiddle has Alvin and the dogs kicked out. Alvin's actions soon catch the attention of the dog catcher, to which Lulu has to explain what is happening. Alvin runs away and she cannot find him. She returns to Mrs. Jones only to find Alvin is already there. Lulu, with Mrs. Jones's blessing, punishes Alvin.

One day, not long ago, Witch Hazel spotted some elves bringing home a cart of gold dust!
Witch Hazel wants the elves' gold dust, she uses Scarecrow Boy to scare them away from the cart. Hazel and Itch move the cart but soon lose control of it, crashing into Scarecrow Boy and finally hitting a tree next to a wandering minstrel. The Minstrel thinks he struck it rich and captures and ties up Scarecrow Boy so he can fill his bags full of gold dust. Scarecrow Boy notices Hazel's wand had come with them in the crash and laying the ground next to him. Scarecrow Boy uses a spell to whirlwind the dust away, eventually back to the elves. Hazel arrives and chases the Minstrel away.

Lulu thinks Tubby and Willie are boxing for fun only to discover they are fighting for real. Lulu decides to help them be friends again by pretending to be in danger. Each time they arrive to save her, Tubby and Willie begin to fight each other resulting in Lulu having to break them up. When Lulu discovers that the fight started over an argument at the zoo over which baboon looked the most like Lulu, Lulu ends the fighting and making Tubby and Willie best of friends again, with matching black eyes.
