First Line:
Deep in the southland, a fast train thunders through scrub-oak barrens.
Synopsis:
Misadventure throws Lassie from a fast train. Pettibone's abuse prompts Rocky to flee the Orphans' Home. He meets Lassie and, later, Ben. Wealthy coffee planter Mr. Lawrence offers to advance Rocky the cost of repairing the Sea Gull and to break Rocky into a job on his plantation.
