Part one of a four-part, issue-length story.

As of this issue, Albert has been dropped from the comic. Clyde Didit, a re-designed version of a character who originally appeared in "Archie's Mad House," is here introduced to take his place as the resident musician and the object of affection for both Josie and Alexandra.

This issue is full of references and homages to the then-popular TV series "Laugh-In," including the catchphrase "Sock It To Me."

Script identifiable as Frank Doyle by his distinctive jokes and dialogue.

The writing on Melody's body is another "Laugh-In" reference; on that show, Goldie Hawn had messages painted on her body.
