Hulk [Bruce Banner]; Doc Samson; Thunderbolt Ross; Betty Ross; Glenn Talbot; Doctor Doom (villain); Hulk Robot (villain); CAMEO FLASHBACK: Jim Wilson (cameo flashback)
As Bruce is being pursued by the police, he is picked up by Dr. Doom's limo and taken to the Latverian embassy. When Ross and his contingent of soldiers show up to ask Doom to relinquish his guest, he releases a Hulk robot instead. The army quickly destroys the robot, thinking they have done away with the real thing; Bruce bristles at the thought of having Doom as his savior so the villain gasses him and takes him back to Latveria. Doom uses his "subliminal inducer" on Banner, hoping to make both he and his monstrous alter-ego his willing servants.
