Stan talks about the Marvel phenomenon in jolly ol' England, including about how we publish seven special weekly comics there, the Campbell's SF and Comic Shop has it's main display devoted almost exclusively to Marvel mags, Paul McCartney's Magneto and the Titanium Man single is a sensation wherever it is played, Paul McCartney has a new Daredevil disc, Paul and Linda McCartney have a new top-secret project and give their regards to Marvelites everywhere. He also says that there will be a third volume in the Origins of Marvel Comics and Son of Origins series focusing on villains and he wants us to send in our guesses as to the title of this book and don't forget the Marvel-Con at NY's Hotel Commodore on April 23, 24 and 25. Items about how Incredible Hulk #200 (written by Len Wein with art by Sal Buscema and Joe Staton) features more guest stars than you can shake a gamma-radiated fist at and more special issues are coming with guest artists such as Berni Wrightson and Jim Starlin, Gil Kane is doing less covers because he is now focusing on whole stories like the Amazing Spider-Man Annual, The Inhumans (written by Doug Moench) and the Sons of the Tiger in the Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, George Perez is now drawing The Fantastic Four, Rich Buckler is now scripting Deathlok, a fill-in for Iron Man, a fill-in for Black Goliath and is teaming up with Don McGregor to co-produce the Black Panther, the Iron Man Annual (by Steve Gerber/Sal Buscema) guest-stars Man-Thing and the villain is the Molecule Man, the Fantastic Four Annual (by Roy Thomas/John Buscema) guest-stars the Invaders, the Tomb of Dracula will have Dracula getting married and guest-starring a satanic sibling, the Werewolf by Night will feature changes in the Werewolf and his relationship with Jack Russell and a special guest appearance by Brother Voodoo, a small note explaining the new UPC code on all Marvel comics, Gene Colan will be penciling Howard the Duck #4 and then Berni Wrightson will take over as permanent penciler and next month Jack Kirby's newest earth-shaker will be hitting the stands.
