The original printing of this story had a major plot problem: at the end, Superman retrieves some red kryptonite, but never uses it. Instead, he uses a shrinking ray (so he can use a Kandorian rocket to return to his time), but then says when the red kryptonite wears off, he'll be normal. This reprint fixes that plot problem by changing the art and lettering to have Superman use the red kryptonite instead of the shrinking ray; then having the red kryptonite wear off makes sense.
