G.I. Joe
G.I. Joe [Hawk; Snake-Eyes; Scarlett; Stalker; Rock 'N Roll; Grand Slam; Short-Fuse; Flash; Grunt; Breaker; Zap; Steeler; Clutch; Shooter ]; General Austin; General Flagg; Sgt. Craig; Sparks; Special Agent Provost[Chuckles]; Cobra [Fred; Baroness]; Damon; Pythias
We are being introduced to the Joe team for the first time as a group of them is doing some recon in Sierra Gordo when all hell breaks loose, forcing them to flee as they are being followed by subversives. Meanwhile, we begin to see more of their hq under Ft. Wadsworth's motor pool as 2 chaplain's assistants, Damian and Pythias, begin to ask questions as to why vehicles enter the motor pool but disappear suddenly. They are sent off by Shooter (who, unbeknownst to the Joes is one of their own), and Short-Fuze begins to wonder why a chaplain's assistant would be wearing medals such as a combat infantry badge, as well as an expert rifleman's badge on her uniform, when they are supposed to be pacifistic. In between the motor pool drama and the Sierra Gordo campaign, we see Hawk having a meeting with an agent Provost (later known as Chuckles), exchanging intel on Cobra. The first part of this story ends with the Joes in Sierra Gordo still running for their lives.
