When Beetle rushes over to the hospital he says: "Oh boy! I hear they have a cute new blonde nurse at the hospital!" The hair of the nurse in question was colored brown on pages 2 and 4, and colored purple on pages 3 and 5, but never colored blonde.

Hey, Captain! Can I have a pass?
In response to Captain Scabbard's complaint that he's become too lax, Sarge informs Beetle that, according to Army regulations, he "can't speak to the company commander without the sergeant's permission." Beetle follows these instructions to the letter and lives to regret it.
