Arak, Son of Thunder
Arak; Valda; Khiron; Satyricus
Khiron (the last centaur), former teacher of Asclepius and Heracles, announces that he is fated to train Arak to assume his semi-divine heritage. But, Arak insists on finding a vanished Valda. After driving away a group of harpies, they chance upon Satyricus, who confesses he lured Valda away for a (naked) dance and she was captured by soldiers. The threesome manage to rescue Valda, but Khiron is mortally wounded by an arrow fired by a fleeing soldier.

The Viking Prince
Viking Prince [Jon]
Jon and his motley band of followers arrive at the castle of Krogg the red, where Alisa is being held captive. With the help of a giant hawk, Jon gains the walls of the castle and fights his way to the room where Krogg is just beginning to force himself on Alisa. Krogg threatens to kill her if Jon doesn't lay down his sword, and Jon can only agree to do so. Horrified, Alisa leaps to her death from a nearby window to force Jon to fight for his life. Even with one useless arm, an enraged Jon makes quick work of Krogg.
