Conan is sold into slavery after his parents are killed by Thulsa Doom. Becoming a mighty warrior and freeing himself, Conan allies with Valeria and Subotai to rob the Tower of the Serpent. Conan recognizes the Cult's symbol as the same one that Thulsa Doom had worn. Conan kills the Great Guardian Serpent and flees the Cult.

This reprint differs slightly from the Marvel Super Special #21. Pages 1-23 are the same (an extra caption has been moved to the last panel of page 23 which was from the next page ). The new page 24 in the reprint in this issue consists of merged content:

Page 24 minus panels 1 and 3 (except all the speech bubbles and captions have been moved to the panels left) and page 25, panels 1-3 only.
