Synopsis:
His search for the lost golden idol brings Indiana Jones to the jungles of Brazil, where he falls into a trap laid by Xomec and the blond woman, who reveals herself as Ilsa Toht -- the sister of the Nazi archaeologist Ernst Toht, who died in the events surrounding the recovery of the Ark of the Covenant. Using the golden idol, she intends to make Xomec king of the Indian tribes and disrupt the rubber deliveries to the American industries supplying weapons to the war effort. Indy cheats death by alligator and emerges the victor of a fight on the wings of an aeroplane.
