"Case of the Funny Paper Crimes" from Superman (DC, 1939 series) #19 is re-done without Superman, and with the All-Star Squadron instead to signify one of the many changes made post-Crisis, since any Golden Age stories involving these 7 heroes (Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Speedy) were no longer considered to be "in continuity." This allowed for any previous Golden Age stories involving these 7 heroes to either be rewritten by omitting them, or just to be recreated, albeit without the original heroes' appearances.
