While Spidey is off participating in the final battle of the Civil War, the Kingpin's sniper is playing a waiting game while keeping Peter's family in his sights. With the Civil War over, Spider-Man returns home to MJ and Aunt May and the sniper takes his shot. Peter pushes Mary Jane out of the way but Aunt May finds herself in the line of fire and is shot.
