At end of story, the caption for the final panel has been modified to read "But Grodd did return...several times...to battle both The Flash and Superman. Will he be back again? Watch future issues of DC Magazines to learn the fantastic answer!" This caption was modified when the story was first reprinted in DC Special #16. The original caption from Flash #127 read "But is Grodd -- behind heavy bars and in a darkened cell to prevent even the sight of him -- really helpless? Perhaps -- but perhaps not! Our advice is -- keep your eye on future issues of this magazine to play safe!"
