As Power Girl tries to re-start her life and her company, Manhattan is attacked by robotic machines dropping from out of a vortex in the sky. When PG is drawn into the vortex, she comes face-to-face with the Ultra-Humanite who has taken the entire island of Manhattan hostage in order to force Power Girl to allow him to transfer his brain into her body.
